Visitors to Adelaide might not be familiar with SALA – the South Australian Living Artists festival.

As part of the SALA festival, five businesses within Hutt Street and surrounds have exhibitions of local artists on display:

• The Old Croissant Factory will be hosting LUNA by Artist Hyelee Woo.

• Hutt Street Library will be hosting THE CITY LIGHTS, COLOUR BRIGHTS by photographer Emiko Artemis within the gallery area of The Library.

• Hutt Street Chicken & Seafood will be hosting EVERY DOG WILL HAVE HIS DAY by Artist Daniel Kean.

• The Olivia Hotel will be hosting LOCALS by Photographer Christian Best.

• Beltana House Gallery on Carrington Street will be hosting NO WORDS NEEDED by Artist Cheryl Bridgart.

The SALA Festival was established in 1998 to promote and celebrate the many talented visual artists in South Australia. The aim was — and remains — to extend visual arts audiences, and as an umbrella organisation, we have continued a policy of inclusiveness allowing all South Australian visual artists of any level and working in any medium to be part of our annual SALA Festival every August.
